Damonte Ranch Hosts Press Conference

Damonte Ranch High School held a press conference to announce the “15 Days of Kindness Challenge”. As I rolled into the school, they had a crew of production students with mic’s in the ears, iphones in hand, and itineraries. The Damonte Ranch students were truly amazing! The media showed up and were handed press packets and then I received the countdown, “We are going live in 3-2-1”

That’s right, the press conference was live in every classroom within their entire high school. Damonte Ranch students truly did it up!

At the conference students from Damonte Ranch and Reno High School challenged each other to see who could make the biggest difference in the world in just 15 Days. Scott Kelley from the Washoe County School Board also gave a statement as well as Martins Ibinola, a friend of mine who didn’t receive his first pair of shoes till he was 14 years old!
