Can One Person Make A Difference

Recently, someone asked me if I really thought one person could make a difference in the world.
Basically, they are asking if my cup is half empty or half full. My answer is important – because the way I answer this questions is a direct reflection on how I see life – or better said, how I perceive things that ultimately shape my reality and circumstances.
Perception is a very powerful tool; it can help you achieve your goals, if you work with it, it will help you – I promise.
Unfortunately, it is not an easy thing to work with. . . not at all!
But here is the thing, I truly believe that one person can make a difference, not just a small difference, but a massive difference done with small things. This is what I believe, or better yet –this is what I perceive.
My goal in life is to be one of those individuals that will be written down in history as someone who left a massive footprint of kindness on our community and world.
There was a speech I heard that said, “If I look at everything that is going wrong in the world, I will quickly become a pessimist. However, if I look at everyone in the world that is working to improve it – I can’t help but be insanely optimistic”
I would rather look at the world of opportunities instead of limitations. I would rather look at a world full of success rather than failure, I will find answers when there are non, and I will not settle for second best results.
If my glass is half full – I am blessed because I have some to share. If it is half empty, I am blessed because I have room for more. . . and more, means more to share.
It’s all perception. The world is an amazing place – and we can make it even more so.
